Edgewood purchased a $4.4 million non-performing loan on a 140 unit multifamily property in June 2003 for $3.125 million. The property consists of an existing 140 unit class B apartment community of seven buildings on two separate land parcels totaling 5.5 acres At the time of the note purchase the property was 43% occupied with over 30% of the existing tenants delinquent on rent.
